There will be a Special Meeting/Open House, June 27th from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Remsen General Store building to discuss a Town Hall Building. The public is encouraged to attend and discuss the possibility of a new Town Hall building.
Town & County Tax Collection 2019
December 13, 2018

Town & County Taxes will be collected by the Town Clerk’s Office in the Remsen Town Hall located at 10540 Academy Lane in Remsen on…Mondays: 5pm-7pm

Saturdays: 9am-12 Noon,  January through March Beginning on January 5th. Tax payments MAY NOT be left at any other times. Do not leave payments with anyone other than the Town Clerk/Tax Collector in the Town Clerk’s Office at the above stated times. Taxes paid on or before January 31, 2018 are collected without a fee.

On all taxes received after such date there will be a $1 delinquent fee plus 1% interest for February and 1.5% interest for March.

If a receipt is requested, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope.

(May be mailed during January, February, & March.)

Regular Monthly Meeting Location Change for May
April 12, 2018
The regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the Remsen Town Board for May will be held on Wednesday, May 9th, 2018 at the Remsen Highway Garage located at 10761 Buck Rd. The meeting begins at 6:30pm and is open to the public. The change in location is for the May meeting ONLY.

The Remsen Town Board will meet April 4, 2018 at 7pm at the Remsen Town Hall located at 10540 Academy Lane Remsen, NY 13438 to discuss the proposed joint ambulance contract with the Town of Trenton and the Town of Steuben.

The Town Board, Town of Remsen is requesting sealed bids for the construction of a 3,600 cubic yard, one ended salt storage building at the Highway Department.  Bid Specifications are available at the Remsen Town Hall, 10540 Academy Lane, Remsen, New York 13438 during regular business hours or viewed on the Town’s website at www.town.remsen.ny.us.  Bids will be accepted from responsible bidders up to and no later than 3:00 PM on April 9, 2018 by the Town Clerk and publicly opened at a meeting of the Town Board on April 11, 2018.  All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled “Sealed Bid Salt Storage Building”.  Certificate of Insurance must be included in the bid.  The Town Board reserves the right to consider bids for a period of 45 days after their opening, during which time no bidder may withdraw his or her bid and the right is reserved for the Town Board to accept or reject any or all bids.
