Town & County Taxes will be collected by the Town Clerk’s Office in the Remsen Town Hall located at 10540 Academy Lane in Remsen on…Mondays: 5pm-7pm
Saturdays: 9am-12 Noon, January through March Beginning on January 5th. Tax payments MAY NOT be left at any other times. Do not leave payments with anyone other than the Town Clerk/Tax Collector in the Town Clerk’s Office at the above stated times. Taxes paid on or before January 31, 2018 are collected without a fee.
On all taxes received after such date there will be a $1 delinquent fee plus 1% interest for February and 1.5% interest for March.

The Town Board, Town of Remsen is requesting sealed bids for the construction of a 3,600 cubic yard, one ended salt storage building at the Highway Department. Bid Specifications are available at the Remsen Town Hall, 10540 Academy Lane, Remsen, New York 13438 during regular business hours or viewed on the Town’s website at www.town.remsen.ny.us. Bids will be accepted from responsible bidders up to and no later than 3:00 PM on April 9, 2018 by the Town Clerk and publicly opened at a meeting of the Town Board on April 11, 2018. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled “Sealed Bid Salt Storage Building”. Certificate of Insurance must be included in the bid. The Town Board reserves the right to consider bids for a period of 45 days after their opening, during which time no bidder may withdraw his or her bid and the right is reserved for the Town Board to accept or reject any or all bids.

The Oneida County Department of Public Works will conduct a Public Information Meeting to discuss the proposed replacement of the Roberts Road Bridge over Little Black Creek in the Town of Remsen. The meeting will be held at 5:30 P.M. on Wednesday, March 14th, 2018 at the Remsen Town Hall.
The project is being progressed under the BridgeNY Program as Project Identification Number (PIN 2754.33), by the Oneida County Department of Public Works, the New York State Department of Transportation, and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). At present, the project is in the preliminary design phase. Representatives from the Oneida County Department of Public Works and Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C. will be available at the meeting to answer questions and obtain comments on the proposed project from individuals, groups, officials and local agencies.
